1/4 cups finely chopped mushrooms 1/4 cups water 1/4 cups tomato sauce 1/4 cups soy sauce 1/4 cups cider vinegar 1 tbs. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 large clove garlic finely chopped 1/4 tsp. black pepper Pinch of ginger Pinch nutmeg
Mix all ingredients together and sautee on low until bubbles begin. Yield is about 1 cup good for a recipe calling for 8 oz can.
