Revelle Salad Dressing

cup red wine viniger
3 large cloves crushed garlic
tsp dried basil
tsp dried thyme
tsp coriander seeds
tsp cayenne pepper
tsp fresh ground pepper
tbsp sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
cup olive oil

Garlic Power!


This started as a Greek Salad Dressing, but wound up being what I call Revelle Salad dressing, because it will wake your taste buds, open your eyes & make you bang your fork on the table, and go "WHOOOOOA!" It is as good as it is powerful, and it is some real powerful stuff! (Got enough garlic to repel vampires for a five mile radius.)

Making the Dressing:
Put all the ingredients EXCEPT the 2 oils to soak in the vinegar for AT LEAST 20 minutes. At any time after the soaking period, add the oils and shake well.

Makes about 1 pint (16 ounces)
